Mint Julep

Kentucky's frosted-tin ritual of bourbon, mint and crushed ice.

Ingredients

• 2 ozBourbon Whiskey
• 5 leafsMint Leaves
• 1 tspSugar
• 2 tspStill Water
• 1 pieceMint Sprig (optional)

Method

1. Gently muddle mint leaves with sugar and water in a julep tin.
2. Fill the tin with crushed ice and add bourbon.
3. Churn with a barspoon until the tin frosts over.
4. Crown with more crushed ice and garnish with a generous mint sprig.
